Welcome to Pilates Process™ Video-On-Demand.
We've carefully developed our library to offer a broad range of fitness and movement choices to support a healthy lifestyle. Effective videos for when you have only 5 minutes to release shoulder tension or whole hour to devote to a full body workout.
Pilates Process™ is an industry leader in teaching progressive Pilates and our videos communicate updated biomechanics that result in a different type of teaching. Cueing for efficiency encourages movement that is both stable and dynamic without resulting in rigidity or joint compression.
Along with our fitness classes we offer targeted webinars that guide you to move more efficiently and with greater ease, so that you get more from your workouts and develop healthier movement patterns in daily life.
We are dedicated to refining, adapting and expanding our offerings to support a healthy life, at every stage.
Enjoy exploring!
Laura, Alison & Tiffany
Pilates Process Directors
Toronto & Vancouver
Laura grew up on the west coast of Canada completely immersed in dance - the beginnings of a life devoted to movement. Transitioning to Pilates was a natural progression and during her extensive training she discovered an equal passion in teaching. After 20 years Laura is still in love Pilates and with the process of teaching both online and in-studio.
Pilates Process™ opened as a fully equipped boutique studio in 2001. For 20 years we've had a strong focus on therapeutic teaching and on education: training teachers with our in depth approach to Pilates and the art of teaching humans.
Alison Ward, an exceptional teacher at our Toronto studio moved back to her home province of BC to teach in Vancouver. After several years of teaching, Alison has joined forces with another awesome PP teacher Tiffany Johns (BKin), to open Pilates Process™ Vancouver . This offshoot of our Toronto studio offers the same in-depth approach and high-quality teacher training – staples of the Pilates Process™ method.
We love hard core workouts, we really do. It may be hard to believe with all of this therapeutic talk. As long as the power and intensity is supported with a finessed core and is resulting in happy joints, high power workouts can be satisfying, refreshing and de-stressing.
We think fitness can be both. Pay attention to where your body is at, aim for balanced workouts at every level, and it can be both healthy for the joints and super strengthening. We guide students to pay attention and move with efficiency whether doing therapeutic class or a power HIIT workout.
